I participated in the culture exposures that my college had set up during Culture Awareness month.

I’m in Phi Theta Kappa, which is an honors program at San Jacinto College.

I’m graduating from San Jacinto Community College and will be transferring to Stephen F. Austin State University in the fall to continue my degree in Deaf Education.

I’m proud I’m thriving in a community with people who are like me. I’m glad I found a community I can connect with.
